There's also a little zoo there, which we went into more as an afterthought. We were glad we did the second a monkey came running up to us and danced on by, sadly, too quickly for a picture. The zoo doesn't really hold a candle to the D.C. zoo, but the one thing that is better is that you can get right up to the fence and see these animals really closely. Even the tigers. And several of the monkeys just run loose. It was really fun, especially because Reade tried to talk to all of the different animals. It often came out sounding like a chicken, but I'm sure that they appreciated the effort.
The statue of Jesus was particularly beautiful with the sky as a backdrop.
